Hyperbole
Hyperbole – An exaggeration of the size, power, meaning, and so on, of an object or phenomenon in order to emphasize that. A hyperbole is a type of figure of speech.
An example of hyperbole is saying;
- I am so hungry I could eat a horse.
- He’s as strong as an ox.
- I could sleep for a year.
- This book weighs a ton.
A hyperbole is a figure of speech form used in the Bible.
